Recurring Meetings with Research Centers

SPA management meets monthly with the research centers to discuss any billing issues. Prior to a meeting, SPA FMs add or update the issues within Banner Self-Service. Inactive PI’s and Fund Managers are also added to the issues. The issues are updated again after a meeting to add research center responses.

Collection issues on outstanding invoices over 90 days are also noted and discussed in the monthly meeting. This is to reach out for assistance in collections and ensure the research center is aware of any possible write-offs. Research centers/departments can run the RA-380 SPA Billing Report in Cognos to view unresolved and resolved issues.
